Founded in 1954 by Peter Holme, La Boutique Danoise is currently led by Alain and Benjamin Chapuis. It is a stronghold of the present danish culture located in the heart of Paris. It assembles renowend artists and designers in every sector of danish furniture design and applied arts.
A selection of timeless furniture is represented, for example, Hans Wegner, Boerge Mogensen, Arne Jacobsen, Fabricius and Kastholm, Bruno Mathsson as well as young designers like Christina Strand, Louise Campbell and Thomas Pedersen.
Regarding illumination, Louis Poulsen is the figure head of La Boutique Danoise by displaying outstanding works of Poul Henningsen and Le Klint.
Moreover, Royal Copenhagen porcelain with its historical service Flora Danica, which was designed for te empress Catherine of Russia and recently launched blue plates Blue Fluted Mega is world-famous at this stage.
