Son, grand-son, and grand-grand-son of craftsmen, I have had to break with tradition, and become a teacher to please my parents. I then went to university to become an English teacher.
But atavism had planted deep seeds, and one day...I felt the imperious urge to MAKE my first knife with my own hands...
Lots of them followed... and passion took me so fully that I eventually decided to become a 'Knife-maker' by trade.
Today, I feel much pleasure in creating sober and elegant lines of cutlery, always trying to match aesthetics and function in the object.
I cut designs into the blades, carve handles, and create cutlery which, I hope, will bring to their buyers as much pleasure as they brought me at the making.
