Treppenmeister was founded in 1975. Today Treppenmeister is the greatest cooperation community of independent wooden stairs manufacturers in Europe. More than 80 companies belong to our group. Together we manufacture more than 25.000 stairs annually. Our stairs are based on a very easy but ingenious principle. On the wall-side, the stairs are mounted with rubber bearings. On the banister-side the stable handrail carries the stairs. This results in extremely robust stairs with a very light and elegant appearance. From the sound- up to the fire prevention: stairs of Treppenmeister must pass hard tests in own experimental centre, before they are ready to go into mass production.
The members of the Treppenmeister partner's community were selected because of their special competence and efficiency. Only they are authorized to construct stairs according to the 'Bucher system® ' in own manufacture. Every partner commits to keep to the high standards of the quality, stability and design. Thus we use for the stair construction, primarily, solid wood, from well-sorted warehouses, drying it carefully and according to the individual wishes of our customers. Stairs differ - among the material - first of all in the construction. The brilliant thing in a stair of the "Bucher system" is that it doesn't need all conventional things. The steps are mounted almost invisibly in the wall and on the banister side they are carried by the handrail.
